Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
At my school, our custodian will play rock, paper, scissor at the end of lunch. If a student beats him, he will give them a sticker or other prize. The kids absolutely love it!!! They get so excited about the stickers, prizes, and the game! The prizes that he hands out, he buys them himself. I want to do this project to give him and others stickers, pencils, croc charms, pins, and other prizes, so that they have options and can keep providing fun experiences at lunch and at school.
When we notice the good and are able to reinforce it, it makes such a difference for students.
