Fourth grade students are creative, energetic, and inquisitive. Within the classroom, students are learning a variety of skills across all academic subjects while developing their social emotional skills. It is critical to keep students happy and motivated! Providing a rewards system with a classroom economy is part of helping students be successful.
In our classroom, we always look for ways to motivate, reward, and catch others “doing good.”
Positive behavior helps create an upbeat learning environment where all students want to learn. Students will be paid classroom money for meeting expectations. Students love to earn and purchase items with their account balances. These incentives will go a long way in helping us stay motivated and keep positive reinforcements in place. Your support will help provide some of the student’s favorite prizes: fidgets, charms, stickers, plushies, erasers, and squishes.
In addition to earning some prizes the whole class works to earn parties and art projects. For the parties and craft activities to be engaging, we need supplies. Paints, paintbrushes, canvases, and 4 x 6 picture frames! These earned activities are some of the students’ favorite memories.
