This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I give my students raffle tickets when they show engagement or participation in class. I pull the raffle every day and am quickly running out of prizes! This list includes small snacks, candy, or stickers that I can give away on a daily basis to keep my students engaged. They really look forward to the raffle at the end of each class, and they love racking up their raffle ticket collection. In order to keep it going, I need your help! I also included some gum to help them stay awake and focused on test days. Lastly, I added some breakfast bars. I have several students who take an hour or more to get to school, so they miss the breakfast offered by the school. I want them to prioritize getting to class on time by giving them a back up option for food within my class as needed.
