My Project

Within my classroom, I incorporate many techniques to incent my students, both academically and behaviorally. One of which includes the opportunity to choose items from my Prize Box.

Students love choosing a prize from my Prize Box and work really hard in order to earn that reward!

There are many ways that students can earn this opportunity.

They include meeting their goal in their daily Goal Chart (when applicable), earning the most table points over a two-week time period, having their name selected from the PAX Leader Bin. Throughout the day, I allow students to put their name in this box if they demonstrate above and beyond behavior.

Another way that I motivate students to make great choices is via the program called ClassDojo. I am able to reward students with points for reasons such as completing their homework, helping others, being in school on time, and for demonstrating persistence. Each month, students can exchange their points for actual prizes. I would use these items to replenish my ClassDojo Store.
