Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students in my class work hard everyday and are held to very high expectations and standards. .
My students are working hard to improve their stamina and increase their productivity.
They are learning this through stories and videos.
My students are at a critical turning point, growing from children to adults, and this is an important time to help them to develop skills such as grit and perseverance and to make life choices to help them be successful.
My Project
My students all require a lot of incentive, motivation, and reminders of their behavior and choices. In the regular classroom, we use our incentive and behavior tracker all day and the children love it. It is a motivator and also helps improve their target behaviors.
My students require a lot of motivation to work and stay engaged and are very attached to our behavior chart and system.
As the year goes on my prize box dwindles down so we need to restock to keep them motivated! Help me reach my goal!
