Do you ever need some space? My students need their own private space to concentrate and work on tests and other projects. With 22 children in each first grade class it is sometimes hard to find that special space where others can't "peek" at your work.
Our students are hard workers and strive to do their best work always.
Kindness and understanding is common nature. Our school is a Professional Learning
Community and we work together in teams to insure all students learn. Teachers collaborate to help students and students often collaborate with each other to enhance the learning that is taking place. Our hall bulletin boards are filled with examples of the student's hard work. Smiles are all around!
My Project
These privacy partitions would benefit ALL first graders in our school. It will allow our students to share their best work with the teacher. Distractions will be less because each student will have their own private space. We will be able to create individual surprise projects to share with classmates behind the wall of our privacy partitions. Imagining the praise and positive comments they will hear when sharing their surprise project will motivate the students to work even harder. Teachers will know that the work is that of each individual student when tests are taken. The data collected from tests taken will drive instruction and help all of our students meet their potential. That data will be more valid knowing that the student had their own space when sharing their knowledge on the test.
We would appreciate your help with this project.
Testing time will be free of stress for all. Little eyes will stay focused on their own work. Little hands will be busy and enormous knowledge will be shared as our First Graders show off their skills on tests and projects. These privacy partitions will enable our students to shine their light of learning.
