This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
During tests and independent work time, it takes quiet concentration for students to achieve at their maximum potential! Can you imagine how hard it must be to concentrate on a challenging test while in a room of 25 of your friends? Privacy shields will help my students to do this!
My 2nd grade students are a group of extremely enthusiastic, hard working, and loving individuals.
They love to learn, and I love to provide the best learning experience I can for them! My school is a Title 1, Program Improvement school located in Northern California. We have undergone some amazing changes over the last several years, due the amazing tenacity and dedication of our students and staff. However, there is still so much room to grow! It takes the extra support of people like you to help us reach our learning goals!
My Project
The privacy shields that will be funded by this project will be used by students during students' independent work time and while taking tests. Here's are some reasons why having this resource is important:
*Increase student focus by visually centering their attention on the task at hand.
*Ensure the validity of tests by cutting down on "copying."
*Provide students with privacy while working.
*Limit off-task conversations.
By improving the working environment in my classroom, not only will students achieve at a higher level than ever before, they will have a great boost in their self esteem because of their success!
