Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We cover some challenging topics in 9th Grade Health class, and the material can bring up some big feelings for our students. Expression through art helps! I've found many of my students enjoy journaling, drawing, doodling, or coloring throughout class. Cheaper art materials don't last however, and it can be expensive for me to purchase these items out of pocket.

This beautiful set of 600 art-grade colored pencils will allow me to provide my students with the very best materials for visual expression.

I'm also hoping to purchase a heavy duty pencil sharpener, along with some acrylic pencil cups to store colored pencils on student desks. I know students will enjoy these materials and the availability of these supplies will positively impact mental health for our students as well. Thanks so much for considering our project!
