My Students
My students are well-rounded children who have a passion for art and love to learn new techniques. They are middle school age and the classes are always striving for new ideas to create wonderful works of art. Our school has 1,600 students and only one art teacher who tries her best to see as many students as she can to teach them art skills. As the art teacher I try to create projects that will inspire every student that comes into my classroom.
My Project
We have learned some print making skills in the art room but I would like to help my students learn how to create an edition of artwork from the same piece of art. Learning print making can help a student create tee shirts, mono-prints and editions of the same works. With this material we can explore print making in a new and exciting way. Please help us reach our goal to get ink, squeegees, and printing kits for the art room. The material will help my students learn to explore the process of printing on many surfaces, from paper to shirts. Thank you
