Thank you for taking the time to read this request! I would love the opportunity to introduce my scholars to new printmaking opportunities with Gelli Arts Gel printing plates, paint stix and chalk pastel.
My hope is that introducing new art supplies will inspire creativity.
Students will see that there is more to art than just drawing. I am hoping this will spark interest in students who are self conscious or nervous about their skills. With the gelli plates students can use stencils, magazine pages and other tools to create a new images without the pressure of drawing. But if they would like to use their own drawings they can do so. That is the wonderful flexibility of gelli printing plates. Thank you for the opportunity to give my students more options for creating art.
