Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These supplies will give my students a much needed opportunity to work as printmakers! I've already introduced them to some printmaking artists and they were fascinated by the processes involved with printmaking. They had so many questions, I couldn't even answer them all!

My students have a great desire to learn about different ways to make and create art and this project will give them that opportunity.

Their desire to be creative is sometimes overwhelming but in the best way possible.

I'm a first year teacher and its been a challenge but, we are starting to get a solid foundation for the arts at my current school! With your help we can expand and create a new and diverse creative culture.
