Teaching at a South Florida Title 1 school, most of my students come from low income, immigrant families. Over 80% of the families at my school are below the poverty line, making majority of the students available for the free lunch program. My students love to learn and are dedicated to working hard in the classroom. Their motivation to do well comes from knowing they are receiving a great education that many of their family members did not have access to.
Students will learn firsthand about the 3D printing process. These materials will use writing with a 3D pen to show the students how 3D printing works and the benefits of 3D printing.
Implementing STEM activities into the classroom allows students to learn hands on while incorporating different subjects into their learning.
My students love anything STEM related! On top of our monthly STEM projects and weekly STEM bins, I want to give my students access to materials which are not common in their learning environment. Creativity is crucial in the learning process and I make it a point to implement it in my learning as much as possible.
