Printing Visuals for Students with Autism!

My students need a printer, ink, and paper to provide them with vibrant visuals to improve communication and learning.

My Students

Imagine a group of students who NEED pictures to communicate...... BUT do not have the resources to do so.

My students are a group of elementary school children diagnosed with autism.

They go to a special education school in which there are 6 children in each class. All of my students receive related services (Speech, OT, PT) multiple times per a week. Each of my students is different and special. They make me smile everyday.

My Project

My students NEED picture symbols that are colorful and stimulating to aide in their communication and/or language development. A printer will allow me to efficiently print out colorful picture symbols for my students' communication systems. This will improve their confidence and decrease unwanted behaviors due to frustration and/or failure to communicate.

Children with autism NEED visuals to aide in communication.

Having a colored printer is a critical tool that will allow me to efficiently print out and then implement proper visual aids and/or communication systems.
