Having access to a colored printer in our classroom will let us print out materials to help teach my 2nd graders tools of financial literacy. Teaching my students how to effectively and appropriately budget using a classroom economy will help them understand the importance of saving, spending, and budgeting!
Research shows that teaching students financial literacy at a young age leads to financially literate adults.
My goal as a teacher is to improve my students futures and educating them in money, savings, and budgeting goes into that! Financial literacy is important because it equips us with the knowledge and skills we need to manage money effectively. This printer will be used for our classroom economy and be able to provide the students with tools for this year long project!
