Ms. Grandison from Richmond VA is requesting instructional technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students a printer and a laminating machine so that it will allow them to have an abundance of new resources available to them.

I teach at a vibrant elementary school in Richmond, Va and my students are eager, energetic learners! My students amaze me with how they persevere through multiple life challenges and still find the wonderment and joy for learning at school. I have a deep connection to my students' life experiences because their childhood traumas mirror mine. My students reside in low-income housing and receive free and reduced lunch.
My students will get the chance to achieve their life goals and dreams and I am grateful to be the teacher who will help to ensure a positive trajectory for their lives!
I am deeply connected and invested in their success because they are truly gifted young people. With nurturing and rigorous, consistent classroom instruction, my students can achieve anything that they dare to dream.
With this laminating machine, laminating pouches, and printer not only will I will be able to easily create additional classroom resources for each child in my class, my students will also be able to share their work proudly with others. During the school year we have student-led conferences. The students lead a conference with their parents and show them various artifacts that they have created throughout the year. A laminating machine would preserve and protect these artifacts so that they can keep them from years to come. A laminating machine is also an essential tool for teachers. It allows the teachers to create and preserve class posters, which can be important instructional tools. By laminating these posters, it allows the teacher to reuse materials, thereby, saving money, time, and resources.
With your donations, students will be able to print and use the laminating machine to laminate math projects, class books, and other class-made work of art to share with EVERYONE.
