Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our school is a Title I school, with high numbers of children from low-income families, and is in need of new learning materials that are engaging and standards-based. We have a love for learning but need some materials to help us on our journey this school year.

We love our school and love learning new skills each day with our friends.

Some of our favorite things to do are reading and math centers, Go Noodle, art activities, and science experiments.

My Project

My students work in the computer center daily. We use a intervention program that has games and activities which meet standards that are not yet mastered by the students. My kids need to print many activities to complete as well as the testing results to share with their parents. Our current printer jams regularly and has lines running through the printed ink making some of the page not legible.

Having a new HP Officejet Printer properly working printer will allow for closer monitoring of student intervention and testing results.

This will greatly impact my instruction and help students master the standards.
