Printing Supplies for Deaf Students!

Help me give my students a classroom printer to print all of the important materials that they need to learn and grow!

My Students

I teach an amazing group of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students who are working hard to meet graduation requirements and prepare for post-secondary life, whether that means continuing on to college or pursuing a fulfilling career and living independently.

Our dual language school provides instruction in American Sign Language to meet our students' unique needs while also fostering the development of critical reading and writing skills in English so that they are better equipped to access the hearing world around them.

My Project

Teaching is next to impossible without printed materials.

This printer would allow teachers to tap into many more resources that support student learning, giving us the ability to easily print materials necessary for quality lessons, supplemental work needed for extended practice and homework, and materials to post in the classroom for students to reference during their classroom assignments and discussions.

In addition, this printer would also give students the opportunity to print their own work, allowing them to share their work with others and showcase their projects, to have hard copies to mark up and edit, and so much more. The possibilities are endless and having this addition to our classroom would undoubtably make a huge difference in the education of these students.
