This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have the pleasure of teaching an extremely diverse group of students. My students have lots of potential, and I feel that I'm here to give them that extra boost that they need. By providing them with advanced technology and the proper tools to help them grow, I know that they will have limitless bounds!

Majority of my students come from low income households, many of which were damaged by Hurricane Harvey.

Although they may be going through a rough time, I know that my students will be successful!

My Project

This printer will be used to print out things needed for student projects. Throughout the year, we complete projects in each subject--Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading, and Writing. Currently, students are required to do all printing on their own at home or I print things out for them using my small personal printer.

I want to incorporate more project based learning into my classroom.

This is very difficult to do without access to a printer. I also want to have access to a printer in order to print resources to be used in class. Currently, I am using my small personal printer to do this, and my ink cartridge only lasts for about 2-3 weeks. As you can imagine, this gets quite expensive! Thank you in advance for you help!
