Help me give my students a 3d printer to help create individualized learning resources to motivate students in exploring their creativity.

My Students
I have an amazing group of students and most have a great desire to learn. Unfortunately, my students face some significant challenges. I teach special education in a small school with limited resources. This grant targets my students with Autism and behavior-related disabilities to help them calm down before outbursts or explosions occur.
My students have challenges ranging from Learning Disabilities to Autism.
Despite the challenges we face, we are determined to build on student strengths to find success in each of their educations. Our unique challenges make us stronger.
My Project
Using hands-on manipulatives is so important for special needs students. This week we have been working on fractions and we use fraction tiles to help students understand how to add and subtract fractions and find equivalent fractions. The challenge is that we only have a few sets and to get a classroom set it would be around $200. With a 3D printer, I could create individual sets for a fraction of that price so it becomes reasonable to let each student have their own set which reduces the risk of infection spread and enables more exploration learning. It also makes it easy to send tools and resources home with students who may be out of school for extended periods of time. This is just one small example, but there are many more uses that immediately come to mind.
Having a 3D printer will also help me create personalized tools to help me produce specialized tools to meet the individual needs of my students.
A few examples include handwriting stencils, custom pencil grippers, fidget toys, and much more. After just a few minutes on Thingiverse, I was amazed at the availability of learning resources developed for special needs children.
The motivation of students with learning disabilities is critical. Giving students an opportunity to create using the 3D printer could be an amazing incentive to get students excited about meeting learning goals. The opportunities available to expand our learning resources is only limited by our imagination.
