This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My seniors have spent the last three years working hard and have faced some challenges since returning to in-person learning. We are currently studying Economics and Personal Finance and they would like to learn about entrepreneurship and running a business.
Having an InkJet Printer and ink will allow the students to design and make products such as stickers, decals and cards to sell within the school.
This also gives them the opportunity to learn firsthand about entrepreneurship and running a business - not just read about it or participate in a simulation.
We have spent the last three years preparing them to stand on their own two feet and become the leaders of the future rather than the followers. We are a high-needs school with highly-motivated students. Right now, schools are unable to fund items like this because so much has been taken out of their operating costs. Your contributions will afford my students an opportunity to help them prepare to be independent learners as they head off to college. Thank you for helping and making a difference!
