My Project
Having a color printer available and ready for my 3rd-grade students to use in the classroom would give them a sense of independence and autonomy. Students printing their work allows them to build a robust portfolio to showcase their skills, creativity and adaptability. The goal in creating this project is to help my 3rd-grade students combine print and digital technology to craft powerful content. It will also help students to be exposed to crucial skills in the future.
The project is supporting 3rd-grade students in a competency-based learning classroom.
The students are challenged and supported in developing their skills in various ways. Having a printer for the students fosters confidence in their abilities. Moreover, students will improve their skills in collaboration, teamwork, and communication as they print their portfolios.
