The Light Table, sensory beads, and a sensory tray have provided meaningful sensory support for students in a Resource Classroom by helping them regulate emotions, reduce anxiety, and improve focus during the school day. Many students receiving special education services experience difficulty with self-regulation, attention, transitions, and managing strong emotions. These sensory tools created a calming environment that supports both emotional wellness and academic success.\r\nThe Light Table offers students a soothing visual sensory experience that promotes calmness and concentration. The soft lighting and hands-on activities encourage students to slow down, engage their senses, and participate in learning in a non-threatening way. Students who become overwhelmed, frustrated, or anxious use the Light Table as a calming station to regain emotional control and return to instruction more prepared to learn. It also supports fine motor development, creativity, and problem-solving.\r\nEach student is impacted by your donation, which helps create an environment that allows them to focus and learn.
