Your contributions have benefitted my student's learning and skills. \r\n\r\nBefore now, my students were never able to print off their work. It required me to print and pick up the printed copies from the copy room. My classroom was selected to pilot a competency-based curriculum. Not only did students work on their portfolios, but they printed the results of their tests and artifacts. The ability to use mobile technology has promoted a sense of accomplishment and pride as students compete with each other to earn badges and unlock achievements. In addition, my students with lower reading skills have been able to use the iPad to help them spell words independently. \r\nThe iPads have empowered my students to learn whenever they want and wherever they are, which encouraged them to take ownership of their education. In time, I look forward to my students developing better critical thinking skills, increased creativity, improved writing abilities, stronger communication skills, enhanced collaboration skills, and greater focus.
