This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a teacher, I will need access to a printer with ink to be able to perform my basic responsibilities such as printing student data, intervention and small group instructional materials, exit slips, and science journals. A printer would allow students to quickly print from a web page, Google Doc, or an image to cut out to attach to their project. The only copy machine that we have in our building is located on a completely different floor and tends to run out of ink quickly since so many staff members use it. Having ink for the printer in the classroom will facilitate printing swiftly.
