My Project
A recent phenomenon in education (post-distance learning) is that many students lack the ability to print documents at home. The world is understandably moving away from the burden and cost of physical print. However, there is still a positive place for generating physical work, especially in a math/statistics course. While large access hubs such as the library are available for student printing, the process is cumbersome and geographically isolating.
Students deserve access to material without hurdles and process.
Having this printer in the room will allow for immediate generation of problems to solve, as well as the ability to scan and copy student work. Our school recently went through renovations, and I remain on the periphery of the school in a distant portable. Having the ability to print without traversing the campus should be a given, especially given the needs of my students and curriculum. Included in this project are two back up ink cartridges to keep things running.
