Help me give my students their chapter books printed in color in order to keep them visually engaged. This color printer will allow me to print student worksheets in color.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of my students have varying degrees of Autism. Printing our chapter books in black and white does not support my students' engagement with their chapter books.
Printing my students' chapter books in color will increase my students' attention span and may help support their reading speed.
Printing in color will also increase the clarity of their texts. Printing in color can also support my students in visually accessing information quicker than they would in a book printed in black and white.
Having a printer that prints in color in my classroom will reduce my workload by saving time from walking to the office to use the color printer. This time can be dedicated to reading with my students.
