This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is a dedicated community determined to increase the academic excellence of our students. Although our elementary school is located in an inner-city, poverty-stricken neighborhood with a high rate of crime and devoid of many resources, our students are hard-working, determined, and ready to succeed.
My 20 sixth graders are motivated to succeed in school and bring their knowledge with them to their community and future education.
Their current circumstances do not define nor determine who they can be or what they can achieve!
Our students are grateful for all the help.
My Project
Please help me give my students a printer and ink for our classroom! As a class, we would love to be able to print our work and have it displayed in our room. Without a printer currently, we can't print out our writing, pictures for projects, or fun activities to incorporate into our learning!
A printer will help us take the work we are creating digitally and create hard copies to keep in portfolios and bring home to show our families.
We have been creating my projects and writings online and would love to show them to our classmates and display them in the hallway for everyone to see!
