Our class would love to print in color. The students create numerous art projects throughout the year and would love to preserve their work by taking pictures and printing in color. We would also like the ability to print pictures of our group activities.
I teach in a New York City public school.
Our school is located in Queens, New York. We are a diverse class with a lot of different cultures in one classroom. It would be wonderful to have the students appreciate the diversity of our class through color pictures.
My Project
I am asking for a color printer and toner so that I can print the work my students create. We had a printer but unfortunately it is no longer working. I hope that this project will be funded so we can print our work for the holidays. Our parents are hoping we will receive support. While not too expensive, it still is beyond our reach and so we are asking DonorsChoose to help us secure what we believe will best promote literacy through students' printed work.
The donation will help the students preserve their hard work.
Students will be able to print copies of their work and share their group activities with family. Our class will benefit from this addition to our computer center.
