Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The majority of my students do not have printing access at home. The ones who use the local library often don't have access to quality, color or picture printing. Being that many of their classes are project based, the inability to print student projects in color hinders students' ability to truly demonstrate what they have learned in its full splendor. In our English Language Arts and Math courses, research projects and the artistic components to those student projects cannot shine as they should. Most importantly, having accessible color printer ink will allow our students to feel proud of their academic work.
