This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a beautiful printer/scanner that was purchased by the generosity of donors through DonorsChoose. I am so happy and grateful for the printer, but I have run out of ink and paper. We cannot print the students' work so everyone can see the incredible job they are doing!

My students are enthusiastic learners who live in a low income inner city.

They are motivated and eager to learn about the world around them. I teach a majority of English language learners, and they have limited or have no access to technology at home, and therefore rely on our limited school technology resources. They always look forward to the opportunity to showcase their hard work. With toner and paper for our printer, students will be able to display their work. My students are motivated about the opportunity to show their creativity with the whole school and their parents.

My Project

In a world where technology has become such an essential part of our daily lives, it would be hard to believe that my students do not have access to a color printer to print their work. Toner and paper for our printer will allow students to display their work/projects in the classroom and take home for parents to see. We would like to get toner for our printer to be able to produce visuals and colorful projects to display students' work that will come alive for school presentations and bulletin boards. Students in years to come will also be able to benefit from such a generous gift.

Your donations would help our class by providing students the opportunity to create and publish vibrant exciting projects such as PowerPoint presentations, Smart Board lessons and comic life assignments.
