Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work on the East side of San Antonio at a middle school of roughly 750 students. This year is significantly different than previous. We are functioning in a hybrid model, where some students are online and some are in person. All students are working hard to close gaps and make academic progress this year.

My Project

This printer will allow for seamless planning, quick response to impromptu needs, and engaging lessons. Having only one black and white copier in the building can cause difficulty when a particular function is broken, the machine is already in use, it is being services, or you have an idea in the middle of class that could add to the lesson.

Having access to a reliable and fast color printer is a must for any classroom.

It will allows for the 6th grade teacher to save time and resources on master copies, color needs, and immediate printing needs. As well as provide lesson extensions for students who want to add a picture to their project, type up their creative writing story, or make a copy of their work to take home.
