Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The purpose of this grant proposal is to secure funding for the acquisition of a 3D printer for a small classroom serving special needs students in an urban area. This innovative tool will provide hands-on learning opportunities, enhance cognitive and motor skill development, and foster creativity and problem-solving abilities among students with diverse learning needs.

Students with special needs often require personalized, multisensory learning experiences to fully engage with educational content.

Traditional learning methods may not always accommodate their unique learning styles.

A 3D printer will allow me to create customized, tactile learning aids tailored to each student’s needs, making abstract concepts more accessible. Additionally, given the limited resources available in many urban schools, this technology will help bridge the gap and provide equitable learning opportunities.
