My Project
Blended learning incorporates digital technology, project-based learning, independent learning, and teacher-led large and small-group instruction to enhance learning. Students learn curriculum content using a combination of these four modalities to work toward meeting their individual learning goals. The use of technology motivates students in this digital age to increase their investment in learning, has been proven to enhance learning and increase achievement, and helps students develop and sharpen the 21st-century skills so necessary to their success as adults.
Many of our students do not have access to computers and/or printers at home.
However, each student has access to a Chromebook on a daily basis in each of our classrooms. These are used throughout the day to work on various learning projects. Having access to a printer in each classroom and sufficient toner will minimize the distractions, difficulties, and loss of learning time involved in trying to use the two printers in the computer lab that must be shared by the entire school.
