This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are an enthusiastic bunch who are motivated to do their best. They love to learn, but many of them face plenty of challenges. Many are second language learners, and many come from impoverished backgrounds.
Students in my classroom love to learn although they have very different learning needs.
They come from very diverse backgrounds but have a shared enthusiasm for learning. They love all subject matters: art, science, reading, music, and math and continue to be curious about the world.
My Project
A teacher needs to be organized and prepared to teach high-quality lessons.
To be successful at distance learning, I need the same technology and materials I have at school available at my home.
A high-quality printer is essential when teaching through distance learning. Access to paper materials helps me work more efficiently. A printer also allows me to be prepared for my daily lessons.
Many of the curricula that is designed for distance learning must be printed out from a printer for reference. Unfortunately, I've used all of my toners and it needs to be replenished in order for me to continue to do this work.
