Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

During this strange time of the coronavirus pandemic, my students and I have been quarantined, like most, to our homes. So, we have been meeting online for class, where I use a notebook, pen, and a doc cam to teach everything!

My Project

As most of the country is closed, so is my school, which means endeavoring on a new challenge - remote learning! I meet with my students online, send them messages, talk to parents on the phone, assign work on a couple of online platforms, and teach using the limited resources found around my house.

Our main need is a reliable printer and scanner.

I would like to use this to scan worksheets and resources I do have to send them easily to parents and students.

With this crazy time, everything seems more difficult. With these resources, I'm hoping to make just a few things easier for my students, parents, and myself. Thank you for your support.
