Printer Ink Needed for Classroom Visuals!

My students need printer ink for many visuals throughout the day to help them follow classroom rules and routines or to provide hands-on visuals for them to use during activities.

My Students

"What is that? Why does it do that? What is that sound?" These are the types of questions I get asked from my students everyday! My students are curious, creative, and full of energy. I teach an Intensive Behavior Prekindergarten class. My students range from 3-4 years old with a wide variety of needs. These needs vary from developmental delay and speech and language impaired. My students have significant behavioral needs which prevents them from attending a typical prekindergarten classroom. They require a very structured and engaging classroom environment to keep them motivated to make "good choices" throughout the day.

As a Title I school, most of our students come from low-income families with very limited access to technology at home.

I have learned over the years that my students make the most gains when they are provided hands on learning opportunities. I hope to be able to continue challenging my students in expanding their view of the world around them by providing these interactive learning opportunities.

My Project

Although I have access to the school's black and white printer, I have realized my students respond better to colored pictures when looking and using visuals throughout the day. With the HP Ink, I will be able to print out picture of the students to help those who are unable to read their name yet and provide visuals for students who are learning how to follow classroom directions.

Visuals are a crucial aid for my students who have speech and language delays.

The colored visuals will help assist my students in expressing their needs as well as providing a different medium for them to demonstrate their knowledge.
