Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from MA. We are a special education, hands-on, preschool classroom. Each of my students has an autism diagnosis. In my classroom, we work on various skills such as activities of daily living, routines, ABA, and social skills.

We have a variety of levels in our classroom, ranging from severe autism to mild.

We also have many students who are non-verbal, as well as having physical disabilities.

Our students who are non-verbal utilize communication devices to be able to use their voices when requesting their wants and needs.

My Project

We currently have 7 autism program classroom, and all of the curriculum is online. Unfortunately, the materials do not come with us, so we need to print them. We have a printer, but need color ink to make and laminate the materials for our students to use. We have 100 students that will benefit from this, as we need to make many materials for each classroom.

This is going to be a big project, but we know that we will complete it because we love to see our students successful and learning.
