My Students

In this classroom, being a family is key. Every day the students have family time to discuss feelings, personal growth, and their families. Having a large military population at the school, the students who enter my classroom come from various backgrounds with their own stories and challenges.

The students are encouraged to collaborate, create, and investigate their learning.

They are free to learn in movement such as rotations to guide their learning. All students are tended to and loved in their personal and educational needs.

My Project

Our school has a copier and printer but it only prints in black and white. This Donors Choose would allow me to print and prepare items for my students in color. The mobile printer is small enough to store and carry from home to school if needed. Also, the first round of black and colored ink will help my projects get started right away!

The color printer will help students be able to visually see what they are learning in color.

Students in Kindergarten do well by learning in color. From the alphabet to shapes in Math, they are constantly learning in an exploring mindset. I would love to give them the opportunity to learn in color and grasp onto their creative minds.
