My Project
Our school has a very diverse population of students coming from a wide range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. We serve a population from Pre-K to grade 8 and include some students with physical and developmental disabilities. We are currently building a strand of classrooms for some students with Autism, and have one preschool class in our school already. Our school library is the beating heart of this community and I am honored to welcome our young students into our school library each week, as they love hearing stories!
Although our library is filled with lots of books and love, we do not have a printer for students and teachers to use while in the library!
Your donation will help us to purchase a printer for use by students and staff while in the library. While our school has been given chromebooks for each student, we do not have printers for every room. The library is one area in our school that lacks a printer and there is not budget to purchase a new printer for the library. Your generosity will purchase a printer for the library, allowing students to and staff to printer lesson plans, presentations, research information and more. Currently staff are forced to print at home using their own personal printers and ink. This practice is very expensive and not practical. Your generosity will help fill this important need in our school library.
