My Project

I have the privilege of teaching an incredible group of high school students, each with unique perspectives and learning needs. Many of my students, especially those with learning disabilities, thrive when they can engage with history through visual aids, hands-on activities, and colorful resources. A reliable printer with extra ink would be a game-changer for our classroom, allowing me to create materials that bring history to life.

With these resources, I can print vibrant timelines, annotated maps, and primary source documents in color, making abstract concepts tangible and accessible.

For students with learning disabilities, color-coded resources can clarify complex ideas, while hands-on manipulatives and visually engaging materials can deepen understanding for all learners. Imagine students collaborating on a large, printed world map, piecing together historical events with vivid, interactive visuals.

My goals for this project are:

To create an inclusive and engaging environment where every student can connect with history in a meaningful way.

To provide tools that help all learners, especially those with disabilities, access the curriculum in ways that work for them.

To inspire curiosity and critical thinking by making history lessons interactive, visual, and fun.

What makes my students special is their resilience and diverse approaches to learning. They inspire me every day with their determination to understand the past and apply its lessons to their lives. With your support, this project will give them the tools they need to thrive, explore, and achieve. Together, we can help these young historians uncover the stories that shape our world.
