This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In this modern era students are assigned many tasks which require them to create documents and print them as well.

My students complete a Performance Based Assessment at the end of each unit.

This means that they put together a project using Microsoft Word or PowerPoint in order to demonstrate understanding of the concept taught. Our students are having a hard time printing their assignments due to the fact that the majority of them do not have a color printer a home and also our school computer lab printer is always broken or never has ink.

My Project

I am trying to have a designated printer in our Foreign Language Lab where students are able to print their assignments without any problems. It is hard for them to come to school and expect to print, yet they find the printer broken or ink less at the time, causing them to get a zero for a given assignment due on that day.

My project will allow students to have their completed and printed assignment on time in order to meet the due date.

In addition, this project will eliminate the chances of students receiving a zero for an assignment that was completed, but not printed due to given circumstances.
