My Project
Picture this, you work in D75 (district known for specializing in small ratios for students with disabilities) it’s prep, you gathered all your printable documents in one folder on you laptop, prepared all week for this, streamlined your printing process, went down to the main office, got ready to print your documents out that would sustain your classroom for the next 3 months…. Only to find that the printer is broken and there’s no update on when it will be repaired.
I want to give my students consistent access to an education.
Working in my district can sometimes mean having no printer, among other things, for weeks! Moments such as these are what drive students to lose focus at a pivotal time for them, how can you learn to do addition or write a sentence if there is no materials to work with? How can you practice at home with no HW in your binder?
By having a classroom printer I can rise to my full unstoppable potential as a teacher which will allow and support my students to rise to their full and unstoppable potential as learners. Help me reach this goal and you will be a part of my students learning journey in unthinkable ways. Data sheets, HW, lesson plans, class projects, behavior charts, and more things you may not ever consider such as the actual paper my students learn to read and write on! Be the change.
