Our typical day usually consists of our Morning Routine, Reading Workshop, Writing Workshop, Math, Word Study, Social Studies or Read Aloud, and a specialty class. I hope to foster a stimulating classroom environment where learning is encouraged and opportunities are always given.
P.S.
230 is diverse school with a large ELL population. It is also a Title I school. I currently have 25 students in my classroom: 15 boys and 10 girls. About half of my students are ELL students, which consist of mostly Bengali and Spanish speakers.
My Project
Our school is very large, with almost 7-8 classes for each grade. There are limited resources available for classrooms. My classroom has one computer (for the teacher) but does not have a printer. Having a printer and ink will greatly help student learning. The printer will be used for printing appropriate worksheets for students. I will also be able to print resources for students when working on projects.
The donations for this project will improve my classroom as well as my planning for student learning.
Being able to print directly from the classroom computer can provide easier access to student resources.
