This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work at Miami Booker T. Washington, a low-income school in Miami, where our students face numerous challenges but are incredibly dedicated and eager to learn. This project aims to ensure all students have their own resources, making learning more individualized and helping them get the one-on-one attention they need. By providing a classroom printer, we can create and distribute customized worksheets, visual aids, and reading materials tailored to each student's unique learning style and pace. This will enhance their ability to understand and retain information, fostering a more inclusive and effective learning environment. Our goal is to empower our students with the tools they need to succeed, despite the economic challenges they face. Your support will make a significant difference in their education and future.
