This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This color printer will help make all of the resources my students need for phonics, reading, writing, social-emotional learning, and math. Recently, our very hardworking printer made its last copy, and I am so glad it made it until the very last day of school! That's because I literally use it every single school day.
My students benefit from colorful, realistic images to manipulate and learn.
Whether it is playing a game of Memory with new vocabulary or sorting emotion cards into different categories, my students love using colorful images.
It would be really nice to come back next school year to a new color printer, and be ready to play and learn on day one. From what I hear from the Kinder teachers, my incoming students are eager learners. Why not take advantage of that motivation by providing them with manipulatives that will boost their skills and engagement?
