We are a Title I school in a large urban school district. One hundred percent of my kiddos are on free or reduced-price lunch and we get zero funding from our campus to purchase supplies and materials that we need to be successful. Despite these challenges, I have incredibly bright students that want nothing more than to learn and become successful. We have to be ready to fill their individual needs, no matter the challenge.
My students need access to print the materials they need from the internet to fuel their writing.
There are countless images, articles, and information, now help me get it into my students’ hands.
In the 21st century classroom, a few things are clear. You need the internet, you need computers, and you need a printer. With the internet giving us access to countless resources, it is becoming more clear that students need to have access in order to be able to learn. There's just one problem, my students don't have access to these resources, so what do I do?
We get a printer.
Such a simple thing it's almost silly and second nature. Having a printer in my classroom provides ease and time to my day to print the materials my students need in order to learn and it gets easier with your help.
