Print Our World: Empowering Young Innovators with 3D Technology

Help me give my students access to a 3D printer to turn their creative ideas into real-world models and prototypes!

My Project

This project will allow students to:

Design and print 3D models using free software like Tinkercad

Engage in the engineering design process

Collaborate to solve real-world problems

Develop spatial reasoning and technical skills

Students will see their digital designs come to life in a way that inspires confidence and curiosity — and introduces them to career paths in engineering, architecture, and product design.

With your generous support, we hope to purchase:

A reliable, classroom-friendly 3D printer (such as a Bambu Lab P1P or Prusa Mini)

Spools of PLA filament in various colors

Storage containers for filament and printed parts

A basic toolkit for printer maintenance and cleanup

These materials will serve current and future GT students, giving them years of exciting, hands-on learning opportunities.
