This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have recently reopened our school library since before Covid. Our students are diving in with new and exciting books, study spaces, and room to learn about themselves with the books and resources we can provide them. We are working on building out our space to be accommodating to those who need a space to work on school work, school projects, resumes, and such. We do not have a color printer, which is hard for the students to put their best foot forward on a project when its limited to black and white. We are asking for an ink jet color printer and a supply of ink to get us through the year.
