This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
100% of my students receive free breakfast and free lunch. In a low-income area like mine, my students do not always come to school with the materials they need to be successful.
My 9th graders are so smart and so motivated.
They entered high school with positive attitudes and a will to learn. They're ambitious and knowledge hungry! They came with the right attitude, and drive to be successful; now all they need is the right tools, and I cannot wait to continue to watch them grow!
They're curious and well aware of how far they could go, if only they had all the tools to get them there. Since they do not always come to school with the supplies that they need due to financial reasons, I know they don't have the resources at home to print and create these intricate projects, so the classroom is where we can do it together.
My Project
This printer would make a great new addition to our classroom. It would allow to the students to create beautiful projects in color.
The colors would help to bring the projects to life, and make the readings pop out more.
It would allow the students to transform the black text that they're reading, to bright and colorful pictures.
This will help bring their imagination to life. This will help take their imagination to the next level when trying to create imagines in their minds of characters and settings, and bring it all to life. Of course, projects are always nicer with a little pop of color!
