Help me give my students quality print-making supplies to creatively express themselves. We need trays, markers, and spray bottles.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Turner's classroom raised $996

My Project
Many students express joy at being able to create in art class as it's truly a time they can express their emotions through artwork. We don't currently have enough working markers for one class to be able to create print projects.
The classroom sets of markers, the styrofoam blanks, and the misting tools will allow K-2 students to explore primary and secondary color combinations and how to mist, print, and reprint to create many artist display options.
They will learn about color to water ratio to create good prints, how to create a ghost print, and positive/negative space.
The students in grades 3 to 5 will learn how to use mark making tools to create a printing plate from which they can print multiple times with multiple colors. That will lead right into a pop art project with an exploration of the artist Andy Warhol. We can extend the project by moving to ink and brayer tools next.
