Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With the printer, laminator, and dividers I will be able to better provide my students with a space that they can use to deal with the stressors of high school and being a teenager. I plan to use these things to better serve my kids and their mental health needs by having materials readily available in an organized manner.
With the printer, I will be able to provide them worksheets, affirmation sheets, and other printable resources that can help them gain coping skills.
The dividers will help keep their safe space organized and uncluttered so they can think and process what it is they are feeling. With the laminator, I will be able to create motivational printouts that can help showcase coping skills and tools they can use throughout the day. I plan on printing different inspirational posters and laminating them to provide to counselors for students to see in different locations around school.
